Tomorrow morning, I will go in for my second surgery at the University of Virginia. This time, the doctors will be operating to repair the CSF leak that caused the bacterial meningitis that I had in October of last year. This will be my last surgery to fix the original problem. I will be in the hospital for the next three days and will be recovering from this surgery for the following three weeks. During this time, I will be focusing all of my energy on resting and recuperating and thus, will be taking a break from this blog. I will be returning to Evolve Happy on Monday, September 20th. However, during these three weeks, I will still be tweeting to keep everyone updated.

During our trip to Barcelona (with a little pavement pounding) I was able to find these beautiful tan and red sneaks at 24KILATES. “The sneaker come in a wooden wine box, along with a bottle of wine, a traditional leather wine carafe and a matching handkerchief.” Unfortunately, they did not have them in my size… I walked away disappointed. There is an auction for them (in my size) on ebay starting at $245.00 (minus the goodies.)
